This 14-day immersive international study program in the USA explores the arts, offering a unique experience. It emphasises the creative process, finding your voice, and development—bringing together top STEAM organisations, creative industry leaders, and esteemed arts institutions for a unique learning experience.

Program Framework
The program framework offers three key pillars including Arts Immersion, Entrepreneurial Creativity and Personal Growth. All of this is supported by Wagner’s Seven Survival Skills.
Returning from the expedition, students will have gained the necessary tools to think creatively and lead with innovation, enabling them to navigate their future with confidence and adaptability.

CASE Arts & Media School incorporate online and face-to-face exploration of Tony Wagner’s Seven Survival Skills. Duke of Ed participants will be taught and assessed on these skills before and after their expedition through structured eLearning, as well as during their time overseas by way of engaging and dynamic workshops. Upon completing this section, participants will have learned what these survival skills mean, and how to apply them to their everyday lives and future careers

Immersive Activities
Stage I – Analysis
The Analysis learning stage emphasises arts immersion, providing a hands-on educational experience for personal and professional growth. Students actively engage in curated creative activities within the arts, gaining exposure to fresh perspectives on artistic expression. This immersive approach enables the application of knowledge in their ChallengeX project.
Stage II – Synthesis
The Synthesis learning stage equips students with skills applicable to their personal and professional lives. Building on their newfound knowledge, students actively explore and apply gained skills through a variety of specialised arts and creative workshops. These new learnt skills are then applied throughout their ChallengeX project. By participating in these workshops, students not only build individual skills but also foster a strong sense of teamwork.
Stage III – Thesis
At CASE Arts & Media School, the thesis stage is a pivotal moment where students apply and demonstrate their learning through ChallengeX, a dynamic, team-based project.
In this program highlight, students collaborate to create, develop, produce and pitch their own creative work as part of the ChallengeX Festival. This hands-on experience is designed to enhance skills in creativity teamwork, communication, and critical thinking, effectively preparing them with skills for real-world challenges.

mPOWER Personal Development
Each morning students engage in mPOWER modules aimed to provide principles and guidance for their future endeavours. As part of the mPOWER module, the Disciplined Dreaming Framework inspires creativity, fostering the right attitude and strategies for success in life. Based on Josh Linkner’s book ‘Disciplined Dreaming’, students will explore the 5 Step system to drive breakthrough creativity during their time at CASE Arts & Media School.

Welcome to the CASE Arts & Media International Study Program! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Students depart for New York City, with a flight time of 20-22 hours. Upon arrival, they are warmly welcomed and receive safety briefings. After checking into their hotel and enjoying dinner, students relax and recharge, preparing for an exciting and unforgettable 14-day adventure ahead.
Day 2
Today, students will meet new friends and teammates at the CASE Arts & Media School Opening Ceremony. The day begins with a ChallengeX briefing, goal setting, and team-building activities, followed by a Disciplined Dreaming workshop to challenge their preconceptions on creative thinking. Later, students will head to the prestigious New York Film Academy for masterclasses on writing, storytelling fundamentals, and idea generation. Finally, students will indulge in a classic New York-style dinner and immerse themselves in the vibrant energy of Times Square.
Day 3
Today is dedicated to diverse viewpoints! Students embark on an exploration of Native American art and culture, led by a First Nations leader. They then enjoy a leisurely stroll through Central Park before heading to the Museum of the Moving Image to examine how art, technology, and media come together to shape society. Students then dive into engaging hands-on lab classes on VR and 3D drawing, vividly imagining and creating ideas in 3D. Finally, the day culminates with catching an exhilarating world-class performance in New York’s vibrant theater district.
Day 4
Discover the art of creative communication and finding your unique voice. Students immerse themselves in Disciplined Dreaming classes to expand their creativity toolkit. At the New York Film Academy, they refine ideas in Stage Two writing masterclasses and hone investor-pitch techniques in sessions led by industry experts. At the world-famous Museum of Modern Art, students learn how artists use their voices through their work to address and discuss current issues. The day concludes with an inspirational speaker.
Day 5
By now students are fully immersed in transforming their creative concepts into polished stories. Students refine scripts, incorporate feedback, and master the art of pitching. Drama improvisation classes break down barriers and ignite self-confidence. The excitement peaks at a mini Pitch Fest, where students pitch their scripts to get a green light for production in LA. The day concludes with a magical evening in New York, featuring hot chocolate, dazzling lights, ice sculptures, and boutique shopping at night markets.
Day 6
Students embark on a journey from New York to Los Angeles, celebrated for its thriving arts and creative scene. Upon arrival at LAX, their first stop is Hollywood Boulevard and a group photo with the iconic Hollywood sign. They explore the Walk of Fame, following in the footsteps of beloved stars. The evening ends as they check into their hotel and unwind before the next phase of the ChallengeX project.
Day 7
Welcome to sunny LA. Starting at the New York Film Academy’s LA campus with an orientation into state-of-the-art facilities. Students dive into camera and lighting classes, participate in cutting-edge multimedia lab seminars, and experiment with performance suits led by top designers and animators from award-winning YouTube series, World of War Warcraft game, and blockbuster movies. Explore trends and technologies like AI that are revolutionising creative design work. The day ends with insights from a guest industry professional.
Day 8
It’s stage three of Disciplined Dreaming, focusing on turning creative concepts into practical solutions. Engage in masterclasses in directing, learning to oversee a production’s creative aspects and lead teams to realise a final vision. Additionally, participate in advanced post-media editing software training led by industry professionals. The day concludes with a reflection on personal growth and a detailed post-production meeting before the big shoot.
Day 9
Today focuses on teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving as students bring all their planning and ideas to life. They’ll shoot their stories, test their concepts, and use creative thinking to tackle on-the-spot challenges. With a focus on time management, they’ll ensure every shot goes as planned. After an exciting day at various shoot locations, it’s back to the hotel to unwind with popcorn and a blockbuster movie.
Day 10
The ChallengeX project is in its final post-production stage! Students work in teams to edit their masterpieces and pitches at the ChallengeX Pitch Fest. They visit a leading design institution to see how the latest spatial technology transforms the field. In the Immersion Lab, they dive into XR tech like AR and MR. This exposure places them at the forefront of design innovation and creative problem-solving. Learning directly from global industry leaders and who push the boundaries of creative thinking.
Day 11
Students start their day at the iconic Griffith Observatory, enjoying the fresh air, planetarium, stunning views, and a group photo with the Hollywood sign. Then, they gear up for the thrilling ChallengeX Pitch Fest, showcasing their final creative masterpieces to expert judges. This climactic event marks the culmination of their journey, celebrated at the Graduation Ceremony with CASE Arts & Media School certificates. The night ends with a wrap party, dancing, and fun with new friends.
Day 12
Get ready to experience Hollywood magic at the Warner Bros. Studio! Enjoy a guided tour into the creative company behind the magic. Explore the backlot, iconic sets, costumes, and props from your favourite TV shows and films. Gain industry insights into how these creative giants operate and innovate. Students then head to Los Angeles International Airport for their late evening departure back home.
Day 13-14
Expedition complete! After 20-22 hours of travel, students reflect on their adventure before bidding farewell at the airport upon their return home, feeling inspired and ready to take on the world.
